Noparcels Free Shipping Bar (“the App”) is operated by Noparcels (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants install or use the App on their Shopify store.

Information we collect

When a merchant installs or uses the App, we may access limited store information provided by Shopify, such as the store domain, app installation details, and information needed to authenticate the store and provide the App’s functionality.

The App stores configuration settings selected by the merchant, such as free shipping goal amounts, display settings, colors, cart placement preferences, and optional gift goal settings where available.

The App does not require access to protected customer data such as customer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or order history. The storefront progress bar uses cart information available in the customer’s browser only to calculate and display progress toward the configured cart goal.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App;
• Save and display merchant configuration settings;
• Authenticate stores and keep the App connected to Shopify;
• Provide support and respond to merchant requests;
• Improve the reliability and security of the App.

Information sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share merchant or store information with third parties except where necessary to operate, maintain, secure, or support the App, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights.

Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

Data retention

We retain app installation and configuration information for as long as needed to provide the App. When a merchant uninstalls the App, we may delete or anonymize stored app data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.

Shopify privacy requests

We comply with Shopify’s required privacy and data protection processes. If Shopify sends us a valid privacy-related request, we will process it according to Shopify’s requirements and applicable privacy laws.

Merchant rights

Merchants may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance related to information processed by the App, subject to applicable laws and verification requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the updated policy at this URL.
